LONGMONT

Police arrest robbery, assault suspect

Police arrested an unidentified man Saturday on suspicion of robbery, assault, driving under the influence of alcohol and obstructing a police officer.

According to police reports, a white male robbed clerk Moonsung Heo about 3 a.m. Saturday at the Lamplighter Motel at 1545 Main St.

Heo ran outside after the suspect. The suspect then attempted to run over Heo with his car, and Heo was dragged by the car. Heo was taken to Longmont United Hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Boulder County Jail. Police said Sunday the suspect refused to identify himself.

Police say the suspect may have been driving a stolen car.
